I have always been interested in writing and after much thought I have decided to write a novel. The novel can be classified as romance and fantasy teen fiction. My goal is to complete the first draft by November 2008. Then after all the editing is done and it has been revised a couple of times, I would like to try to get it published. This is my dream and dang it I want to try and make it happen. The following is an excerpt for you guys to read. Let me know what you think, it means a lot to me.

Happy New Year!

This new year is a very significant one for me. Sure I am graduating with my bachelors degree in Business Management, but it isn’t only that. I feel this is a year of change for me – a transforming year. By the end of 2008 I believe I won’t be the same person who is writing this. I just hope I can manage through this year successful and am able to keep my resolutions (which I will post up sometime tomorrow).

I don’t have much time to continue writing now so I end this post with this ending thoughts… do not drive while under flu medication it only results in accidentally hitting a tree… ah yes what a way to start the new year.
