Writers Muse

Description: Another poem written years ago when I was in highschool. Actually written for my english class – I actually got a “A” on this poem. It’s sort of corny but it gave me a sense of what it’ll be like if I were a lost spirit or something.

I woke up this morning everything was quiet.

I heard my parents crying.

I asked them why, but they ignored me.

So I decided to go to school.

All day long students slammed doors in my face…

and just ignored me.

Finally I got back home.

I went to look in the mirror…

only to find a hallow floating over my head…

and wings on my back.

Now I know people weren’t ignoring me.

They couldn’t see me because I had pasted away,

and had become an angel……
