Description: A poem written while I was in World Cultures’ class … I had to keep myself awake somehow. The main point I was trying to get across is, that if you run away from situation then you will be forgotten.

What is so important to you?

It is all meaningless to me.

This world stopped making sense…

the day you walked away from me.

I don’t want to try to understand…

the reasons that you may have had.

It is way too late to take back all your mistakes.

Just stay away from me.

Don’t you see the pain you caused me?

But that was long ago…

and I don’t feel anymore.

All you ever meant has long been erased.

So stay away from me.

You are meaningless to me…

and that’s all you’ll ever be.
